App Store 1.5 rejection: Developer contact information

This guide is for iPhone and iPad apps with missing or unusable support details, and apps distributing Wallet passes.

Your app can work perfectly and still leave users with no way to reach you. Apple’s 1.5 requires an easy contact route in the app and at its Support URL. Wallet passes also need valid issuer details and the appropriate dedicated signing certificate.

Try to contact yourself

Open the Support URL on a device where you’re signed out. Can a user find a working email address or form without a developer account? Submit a test request and confirm it reaches someone. We’d test the link from the actual store metadata, since it may differ from the one in your source files.

Check the in-app help screen, localized versions, and contact information on any Wallet pass. Verify the pass’s issuer and signing setup with your developer.

Repair the broken route

Update dead links, inaccessible forms, or outdated details. A generic landing page works only if people can easily find how to contact you. Keep the app, support site, and pass issuer information consistent.

Retest the published URL and the app’s help flow. If only metadata changed, explain that to Apple; if the app or pass needs a correction, provide the updated version and precise steps to verify it.
