App Store 2.3.10 rejection: Other platforms in an App Store listing
By The Draftbit team · Updated
Sources checked
This guide is for iPhone and iPad apps or metadata showing other mobile platforms, marketplaces, or irrelevant platform references.
You may have reused a screenshot from another release, and Apple noticed. Guideline 2.3.10 asks the app and its metadata to focus on the Apple-platform experience. References to other mobile platforms or alternative marketplaces need specific, approved interactive functionality.
Find the cross-platform leftovers
Check device frames, status bars, platform logos, download badges, help screens, and onboarding links. We’d review the app itself as well as its listing; changing one screenshot won’t remove an Android badge from an in-app help page.
Show this version of the product
Capture the iPhone or iPad experience and remove unrelated platform promotions. If the reference is necessary for an actual approved interaction, explain that feature and how the reviewer can use it.
Keep useful product information accurate. A feature that works differently on iOS should be described as it works here.
Preview the corrected assets and walk through the relevant help and onboarding screens. Tell Apple exactly what changed, or identify the approved interactive functionality supporting the remaining reference.
