App Store 4.7.4 rejection: Hosted software indexes and universal links

This guide is for iPhone and iPad apps offering a catalog of software under guideline 4.7.
Apple needs a way to find the software your app offers, including items loaded after installation. Guideline 4.7.4 requires an index with metadata and universal links leading to all the offered software.
Compare the catalog with the index
List the items actually available to users and compare them with the index supplied for review. We’d include region-specific, account-specific, and newly published items. An index of a few demo items doesn’t describe the full catalog.
Make each item reachable
Provide the required metadata and a working universal link for every item. Ask your developer to verify the app/site association and routing; a plain web URL that never opens the intended item may not demonstrate the required behavior.
Test links on a device with the app installed, with suitable access for restricted items. Keep account prerequisites clear in the review notes. Give Apple the index location and representative links, and make updating the index part of publishing new hosted software.
