Google Play content Ratings policy: fixes and checks

This guide is for Every app submitted to or active on Google Play.
Your app needs an accurate content rating. Google uses your questionnaire responses to obtain regional ratings, and inaccurate answers can lead to removal or suspension.
What to check
Review actual content, user-generated material, and interactive features against the Play Console questionnaire. Revisit answers when content or features change; the original submission isn’t a permanent rating exemption.
Check ads separately. A rating for your app’s content doesn’t automatically cover mature advertising or every age-related data practice.
How to address the rejection
Complete or correct the questionnaire and submit updated answers for the affected app. Use evidence from the current build, including content that appears after login or through remote feeds.
If the answers are accurate but you disagree with the assigned rating, use the rating authority’s appeal link in the IARC certificate email. That’s a different process from disputing a Google policy enforcement action. Explain the specific content and rating issue rather than choosing answers solely to obtain a preferred age label.
