Google prohibits apps that help people deceive others, including tools for fraudulent identity documents. An entertainment disclaimer doesn’t exempt a deceptive feature.
What to check
Review generated documents, identity claims, impersonation templates, and any display of real people’s contact details. Check whether different regions or devices receive materially different core functionality without clear disclosure.
This policy also covers additional resource downloads. Necessary assets must comply with Play policies, and users should see a prompt and the download size before the download begins.
How to address the rejection
Remove the deceptive capability or redesign it so it can’t serve the prohibited purpose. Correct listing differences and update release notes when the app changes substantially.
For resource downloads, show the size before starting and test the first-run flow on a clean install. Review remote content as carefully as packaged content. Explain the specific change in your resubmission; a statement that the app is only for fun doesn’t answer this policy.
