Google Play financial services policy: fixes and checks

This guide is for Google Play apps containing or promoting financial products, services, investments, crypto, or personalized financial advice.
A small financial feature can create declaration requirements for the whole app. Google’s Financial Services policy prohibits deceptive or harmful products and requires applicable local compliance. Apps with financial features must complete the Financial features declaration in Play Console.
Map what the app provides
List products, advice, referrals, and third-party offers. Identify the provider, targeted countries, required licenses, and disclosures. We’d include lead-generation features even when another company makes the final loan or investment.
Match the product and declaration
Complete the declaration accurately and supply the requested supporting documents. Apply the specific child policies for loans, earned-wage access, or binary options as relevant. Have qualified advisers assess legal obligations in each location; the store declaration doesn’t replace them.
Test the offer, disclosures, and geographic availability in the submitted build. Give Google the provider relationship, corrected declaration or feature, and evidence connecting the developer account to the relevant documentation.
