Google Play gambling apps policy: fixes and checks

A gambling license doesn’t by itself complete Google’s distribution requirements. Eligible apps need acceptance through Google’s application process and authorization for the actual product and every location served.

Check product and territory coverage

Google lists eligible categories such as casino games, sports betting, horse racing, lotteries, and daily fantasy sports, subject to its location rules. Compare licenses with the app’s geographic access and the specific games offered. We’d check state/territory restrictions as well as countries.

Configure the required experience

Prevent underage use and access from unlicensed locations. The app must be free to download, must not use Google Play billing for these transactions, and needs the required adult rating and responsible-gambling information in both app and listing.

Test access boundaries, registration, and transactions using a safe environment. Supply the approved application and licenses through Google’s designated process. Explain the review setup and how restrictions are enforced; selecting countries in the listing isn’t the whole geographic-control test.
