Google Play Health Connect limited use policy: fixes and checks

Health Connect access doesn’t make health data available for any business purpose. Google limits use to approved visible features and places strict conditions on transfers and human access.

Trace onward use

Check advertising, analytics, support tools, data exports, and lending or insurance-related decisions. We’d inspect recipients and purposes beyond the app’s first server. Advertising, data-broker sales, and creditworthiness/lending uses are prohibited.

Apply the specific restrictions

Review the full clause’s consent, security, legal, and corporate-transfer conditions before sharing. Medical-device uses need applicable approvals and explicit consent; protected health information has additional user-initiation and legal conditions. Have qualified people assess those cases.

Remove prohibited recipients or uses and test the corrected payloads with fictional records. Give Google the remaining purpose and documented basis for any transfer. A generic consent checkbox doesn’t override a prohibited use.
