App Store 5.2.4 rejection: Claims of Apple endorsement

This guide is for iPhone and iPad apps or marketing suggesting Apple supplies, endorses, or awards the app.
A badge or phrase can imply an endorsement you didn’t intend. Guideline 5.2.4 limits claims that Apple supplies the app or endorses its quality or functionality.
5.2.4(a): endorsement claims
Review the app, screenshots, website, and description for wording or imagery suggesting Apple recommends the product. We’d distinguish a factual compatibility statement from a claim that Apple approves the service itself.
5.2.4(b): editorial badges
Apple applies its editorial selection badge itself. Remove a badge you’ve added to imitate that distinction rather than treating it as ordinary promotional artwork.
Correct and verify
Replace unsupported endorsement wording and images across localizations. Check the final uploaded assets, not only the edited source files.
Tell Apple which claims were removed and where. If the reviewer flagged a factual statement you believe is accurate, explain the exact wording and supporting context without extending it into a broader endorsement claim.
