This guide is for Google Play apps selling specified weapons or accessories, or supplying prohibited weapons-manufacturing instructions.
Google’s Dangerous Products policy concerns what your app helps someone buy or make. It prohibits sales of explosives, firearms, ammunition, and specified accessories, as well as instructions for manufacturing prohibited weapons and components.
Follow listings and external links
Check marketplace categories, user listings, checkout redirects, videos, and search results. We’d inspect imported catalogs too, since a supplier can add a prohibited item after your last app update.
Remove the prohibited route
Remove the affected products, instructions, and purchase-enabling links. Update seller controls and content review so the same items can’t return under a different category. A legal sale in one location doesn’t automatically meet Google Play’s distribution policy.
Test searches, item creation, and purchase routes using harmless test entries. Give Google the removed material, the control changed, and a way to verify the corrected experience. Keep safety education distinct from instructions the policy prohibits.
