Google Play made for Ads policy: fixes and checks

By The Draftbit team · Updated

This guide is for Apps that repeatedly show interstitials between ordinary actions.

A Made for Ads rejection means repeated interstitials are getting in the way of using the app. Individual ads can be dismissible and still create a prohibited sequence.

What to check

Perform a complete task as a new user. Count where interstitials appear across consecutive taps, screens, and setup steps. Watch for a chain of buttons that each opens another ad before providing the promised feature.

Test remote frequency settings and all mediation partners. Separate ad systems may each follow their own cap while collectively overwhelming the experience.

How to address the rejection

Remove consecutive interstitial placements and let users complete meaningful tasks without repeated interruption. Consolidate frequency controls across providers where needed.

Verify the entire task after the change, not just one screen. In your response, explain which placements were removed and demonstrate the now-usable flow. Adding a token feature between advertisements doesn’t solve an app experience organized primarily around repeated ad exposure.
