Google Play tokenized digital assets policy: fixes and checks

This guide is for Google Play apps selling or letting people earn blockchain-based tokenized digital assets.
Google wants the tokenized-asset feature disclosed in both the app declaration and relevant product details. The policy also prohibits promoting or glamorizing potential earnings from playing or trading.
Match declarations to the offer
Complete the Financial features declaration for selling or earning tokenized assets. When creating an in-app product, identify that it represents such an asset. We’d compare the actual reward flow with the store configuration, including assets earned rather than purchased.
Correct the presentation
Remove misleading earning-focused promotion and accurately describe what the asset does. Check NFT gamification if chance, staking, or rewards with real-world value are involved.
Test acquisition and use in a safe environment, then inspect the saved declaration and product metadata. Give Google the asset, corrected fields, and changed promotional text. A blockchain integration hidden behind ordinary “points” language still needs accurate classification.
